Aristotle's Theory on the Universe
Aristotle, a famous Greek philosopher had greatly influenced Science, Theology, and Philosophy. One of his widely accepted theories at the time was that the Earth was the center point of the universe. Aristotle believed that the heavens and planets were rotating around the Earth than rather earth rotating around them.
Nicolaus Copernicus's Theory
Nicoulus Copernicus was a very intelligent Renaissance man who, throughout his lifetime, focused on various fields his time had to offer rather than just one particular study. Copernicus studied astronomy math and medicine to name a few. This wide range of knowledge allowed him to question commonly held belief. His famous of the Universe stated that the Sun was the center point.
